Show & Tell Friday
Today, I am participating in Show and Tell Friday at Kelli's House.
This is my favorite Christmas present from last year:
I adore this plate. Gene and I went up to Walmart one Saturday before Christmas. We decided to stop in a cute little jewelry/collectibles store on the way. In that store, I saw this plate and instantly fell in love. You see, the little girl on the plate looks EXACTLY like Lucy did last Christmas. I wish I had had a red dress to put Lucy in. I would have taken a shot identical to the one on the plate.
Anyway, I didn't even look at the cost of the plate, because I knew we couldn't afford it. Imagine my surprise when I opened a gift from Gene on Christmas morning, and THIS was inside.
I don't know how or when he got it, as Walmart is a 45 minute drive from our house, but he did, and it is something I will treasure forever.

Your husband loves you very much. You are blessed. I think your plate is adorable...your Lucy must be too!
