As soon as I opened the box from My BlogSpark, the kids rushed over to see what was inside. The moment that I pulled out 2 boxes of Chex Mix Bars in the Turtle Flavor, they went crazy! Luckily, the package arrived just in time for snack time, so I figured I'd go ahead and give them each one.
After checking the ingredients for any trace of walnuts, and finding none, I decided I'd indulge in one, too! The Chex Mix Bar was heavenly. Really. Chewy and crunchy, chocolatey and just simply divine. Then I looked at the box. I expected to read that I had just blown my diet right out of the water. I figured the bar would be saturated with fats and calories, and I'd have to spend an extra hour on the wii fit just to work it off.
Boy, was I ever wrong! In one Chex Mix Bar (Turtle flavor), there's only 130 calories, and 3.5g of fat! Absolutely no trans fat, and the sugar content (11g) is surprisingly low, too! Plus it contains Iron, Protein and 8g of whole grain per bar. Healthy and delicious? That's a winner in my book! The only

I have three young children (ages 3, 2, and 1) so I can't unwind until my husband gets home from work at 7:30 PM. Then, with the kids focused on him, I am able to take a shower (Ahhhh...), and sink into the couch with a hot cup of French Vanilla Cafe.
