My little Pony: Twinkle Wish Adventure (Review & Giveaway - 10/18)

We received a copy of the brand new film, My Little Pony: Twinkle Wish Adventure last week. When Lucy saw the DVD, she got so excited, she could hardly stand it! First, it was pink. And it was sparkly! Pink & Sparkles - there's no better combination. Then, she realized that it was My Little Pony, and her excitement level spiked!
"Ponies, Momma! Just like MY ponies!" She ran to her room, gathered all of her My Little Pony figurines in her arms, brought them out into the living room, and lined them all up along the coffee table facing the TV. She turned to me, put her hands on her hips and said, "Ok, Mom. They're ready to watch thems friends on tv. What are you waiting for?"I started the movie, and watched to see what Lucy's reaction would be. She sat on the coffee table, right beside her ponies, and talked to her ponies about the movie. "Look! There's your best friends. And that one looks like you! Isn't this so cool?"
At the end of the movie, I asked Lucy how she liked it. "Oh, Mom. I just love that movie. It was the bestest movie ever!"
Then, I decided to show her something else that was pretty cool. We popped the disk into the computer and looked at all the different printable activities. She wanted to do the coloring page, so I printed that out and had so much fun coloring it. Even the boys liked the ornaments that you could print out. They've decided that we need to get an extra Christmas tree this year - just a little one - and decorate it with the My Little Pony ornaments and other "pink stuff."
As you can tell, the My Little Pony: Twinkle Wish Adventure is a big hit in our house. And now, I get to give a copy of the DVD to one of my readers!
