Happy Birthday, Honey!

Today is my husband's birthday. He's a whopping 28! We gave him his gifts this morning when he got home from work. We got him stuff that he's been asking for since we moved down - a Strong's Concordance and the Webster's 1828 Original Dictionary. What may sound boring to other people made him more excited than I've seen him in awhile. I think we made his day!

I am so lucky to be married to such a wonderful man. He loves me, puts up with all my crap, and supports me in everything I do. More than all that, though, he loves God and he is an amazing father to our children.

When he woke up, we took him out for a nice little birthday dinner and then presented him with a cake that the kids helped me make. (Tasted pretty good!) All in all, I think he had a pretty good day!

So, he may be a young one, but he's a good one. I'm the luckiest girl in the world to be able to call him mine.
