Mrs. Renfro's Salsa (Review & Giveaway - Closed)

I recently had the opportunity to try Mrs. Renfro's salsa. Before I get to my review, I want to share more about their company with you.

My Review of Mrs. Renfro's Salsa
When the package from Mrs. Renfro's arrived, I'm not sure who was more excited: my husband or myself. Since my husband works in the grocery industry, he knew exactly what was going to be in the box, and he confessed that he's been dying to try Mrs. Renfro's salsa for quite some time. We opened the box and found 4 flavored salsas: Black Bean Salsa, Garlic Salsa, Raspberry Chipotle Salsa, and Pineapple Salsa.
The salsas were also a hit with the rest of my family. Even my youngest four, who won't eat anything even remotely spicy, dove into the pineapple salsa and scarfed down half the jar! The pineapple was hubby's favorite, too. My 12 year old absolutely loved the black bean salsa and can't get enough of it.
I used the raspberry chipotle over chicken in the skillet, and it came out super delicious. I still haven't done much with the garlic, though, only because I'm convinced people would smell me a mile away. Soon I'll get past my fear and try it mixed in a dish. They've got some tasty recipes posted on their site that I'll definitely be giving a try. (And, now through July 15th, you can Submit your recipe to win free salsa for a year!)
One other thing that I really loved was that I knew what all of the ingredients were in the salsas. No "extra" junk added to it. Simply good stuff. I like that. I like serving my family things like that. Plus, the salsas are low in calories. That's an added bonus!
Overall, my whole family is quite impressed with Mrs. Renfro's salsa. It's pretty clear that we've got a couple of new additions to every family taco night now. And on my next shopping trip, I'll be grabbing a jar of the peach salsa that hubby can't wait to try. I'm giving Mrs. Renfro the 5 Vinez Monkeys seal of approval for being so darn tasty!
