Sid the Science Kid: Gotta Know Microphone Giveaway (7/21)
If you have a preschool aged child or grandchild, chances are good that you've heard of Sid the Science Kid. I've talked about Sid many times on this blog, and I've even given away some really great DVDs.
If you don't know who Sid the Science Kid is, let me tell you a bit about him and his show.
Sid is a funny and very inquisitive 5 year old who stars in his very own animated television series on PBS Kids. Curious and excited about the world around him, Sid asks all sorts of questions - the how, when, where and why kind of questions - that preschoolers often ask their parents or grandparents. They discover lots of answers and interesting tidbits in each episode. Geared toward children ages 3 - 6, the show uses humor and music as key teaching tools.
Now, I'm giving you the chance to win a Sid the Science Kid Gotta Know Microphone for the preschooler in your life. While we haven't had a chance to play with the microphone ourselves, here are some cool features of the toy:
Need to get your hands on this microphone now, and don't want to wait until the giveaway ends? You can purchase the microphone on the Hasbro.com website, or wherever toys are sold: Walmart, Kmart, Target, etc. for just $14.99.
Thanks to Three.Sixty Marketing & Communications and the Jim Henson Company, I get to give away a Sid the Science Kid Gotta Know Microphone to one of my readers!

Fun giveaway - my kids love Sid the Science Kid...hmmmm a hard question...
They have asked "Who made God?" and to say he always just has been did not suffice - so they asked more and more - eventually I just said - it takes faith kids - have some faith!

I was proudly showing my newborn to my son, who was 4 at the time. It was the first time he had seen the baby. He looked at the baby and asked me why the doctor had pulled out all the baby's teeth?
