Easter is one of my favorite holidays. While the Easter Bunny, the coloring of eggs, the Easter egg hunts, and the candy are all a fun part of today, what I love most is the meaning Easter has to our family.
Today we celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior. The story started at Christmas when we honored His birth. He lived, he taught, and he died.... and He did it all for us. The best part of the story is that He didn't stay dead. He rose again on that third day, and He's waiting in Heaven for our Father to say, "Son, go get your children." All we have to do is believe in Him and accept Him as our personal Savior.
What a blessing to know that I serve a risen Lord. I will celebrate and rejoice that He is King.
